Kalocin.5982
I'm getting a lot of crashes now too, sent my error log in just now. I can't play more than 30 minutes without it crashing on me and Gw2 is the only game that does it. It's not a memory leak, it was only at 3 gigs of ram when it crashed (I have 16). Overclocked i5-3570k and a 980ti.
Ok I Did It.2854
Do you run LavaSoft on your system, alot of the c0000005 errors in the past where linked to Lavasoft adware program, or course that could just be luck, does the full crash report give any more info.Have you ran a -repair on the client aswell. UnderWaterLoo.4863
when i try to repair it just stops responding. dont have the rest of the crash gonna try and play today and get another. And about LavaSoft dont think i have in on my pc never seen it and cant find anything related
Inculpatus cedo.9234
LavaSoft programs can hide. You have to do a deep search to find them, sometimes. (They are often piggy-backed on with Bing.)The Repair utility will stop for periods of time, and look like it's not responding. Just leave it, and it will 'do its thing'.You don't need to post anything other than the first part of the Crash Report. You can send the entire thing to the Tech CS when/if you contact them through the 'Support' link above/below.Good luck. Chay.7852
Have similar issues - my crash report looks like the one posted by UnderWater. Its just.. sometimes i get the message "gw2.exe failure" sometimes not even that - the game just closes itself. Sometimes a few times in a row. Last crash happened during updating - so i wasn't even in game, it came right after i started GW2. The game archive repair is running right now.As about when is it happening - sometimes i can run with a full zerg in wvw or play Dragonstand for like 2 hours (at full details) and have no issues and right after my game crashes while i go to my home instance - alone - to gather. So.. yeah, its sort of random.I checked my hardware as far as i could (software tests like fur benchmark for my graphic card, dxdiag, memory check etc) and everything seems to be OK.As for LavaSoft - i searched and didn't find anything, at least nothing with LavaSoft in its name. It's just soooo annoying :anguished:
UnderWaterLoo.4863
Well... aparently it just stoped crashing for me. Played this couple of days and it just stoped.... dont have a single clue why. Sorry i cant help :(
Crystalium.1856
Got the same issue, sometimes i can play for horus without problems, other times the client crashes 4 times in 2hours ... i tried windowed and fullscreen, without antivirus, without arcdps, without anything else running, tried the repair (successfull), and it can occurs in pve, wvwn even in idle. I don't manage to find a speck of hint on what causes this -_-
UnderWaterLoo.4863
Welp...the crashes are backException: c0000005Memory at address 00000000`000001e8 could not be readApp: Gw2-64.exePid: 4388BaseAddr: 00007FF6C1280000ProgramId: 101Build: 96479When: 2019-05-01T14:26:58Z 2019-05-01T15:26:58+01:00Uptime: 0 days 0:26:54Flags: 0Was not able to play more than 10 min in this couple of days... Chay.7852
I know.. same for me, reinstalled the game (as last thing i imagined it could help - a fresh installation) then i had my peace for like 3 days and now the crashes are back (at this moment i'm running the game archive repair). My graphic card driver is maybe one week old ( the last which NVIDIA has released) - nothing seem to help.As for the time ingame, its a bit different for me, sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 3 min. UnderWaterLoo.4863
I noticed that if i dont play for a a couple of hours and pick up the game i can play for like 2-3h but if it even crash once i cant play more than 5 min....once it starts crashing doesnt stop untill i give the game a break....what in the actual **** :/

So I thought that might be the problem. I rolled back to the last version, but nope, my game keeps crashing.

magnusthorek.8027
I would honestly prefer that my first post in this forum after my first 2 months playing would be something positive but this is getting annoying already.Today morning I was using the "trick" of travelling to Lion's Arch through PvP Lobby when I crashed. I logged back and crashed again. Once more and I finally managed to reach the Asura Gate but a few minutes at my destination I crashed once more and when logging back my character became all disfigured, like one of these things people consider as "art" — Since repairing the game accordingly to the instructions did nothing (at least there was no progress bar like when, for example, a power surge shuts down your PC) I had to reinstall everything. Character's models recovered but the crashing continues. Opening inventory, Trading Post, Bank or simply walking around and I crash inexplicably. It's already extremely hard to find other players to help me with simple achievements gated behind extremely overpowered bosses or mechanics not present in the base game and the little time I manage to stay connected, I crash, crash and crash all the time.I really hope I didn't spend 200 bucks buying the game for nothing. Inculpatus cedo.9234
Two hundred dollars? What could possibly cost so much? At most, an Ultimate PoF + HoT is $100.Regardless, have you contacted the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below for assistance?
magnusthorek.8027
I didn't say dollars. Guess "bucks" was misinterpreted there, which is understandable
RoastedBloop.9817
Same issue here. This seems to be a reoccurring one. As it was a problem a while back, thought it was resolved?.

speedyconzales.8149
I do not know what is causing the problem for you guys but to identify it, try to use that: https://github.com/megai2/d912pxy and see if the error still occurs. Maybe it does the trick. It did definitely the trick for me boosting my fps and making my setup work, since the game was unplayable while using an eGPU. katniss.6735
This is still an issue. Random lag spikes into a d/c while not being near anything that causes ping loss or cpu issues.

Chay.7852
This thing is something especially "funny" when you just finished a pre event for for example Shatterer and crash.. and on relog you land on an empty map xD - happened to me yesterday. Cause yeah.. my game still crashes from time to time as well..Edit:// since i had the same issue on my brother's laptop, i must admit that i did't reinstall my OS. Did the rest just as UnderWater posted above though.
