Why can't you turn at the "Match Ready" screen?

When I am on a map gathering resources or fighting enemies and the "Match Ready" screen pops up, why can't I turn? The game seems to force the toon to always look in the same direction

It's because the select map panel takes screen focus (placed on top of every other UI), this is in order for you to quickly choose.

However if you still want control of your character you can try both of these:

• Use AWSD to move
• Right click and drag outside the map panel to rotate your camera like normal

Luckily the developers have confirmed they are working on a way to make this screen dismissable (you can read it in the PvP forum) so in a few patches you should be able to select and dismiss regaining all your camera functionality when you want it.
