Starting the Forged with Fire meta

I've had a group sitting at the Foundry entrance for about an hour now, how/when does this meta start? We've found no real answers here or on reddit.

Probably bugged. I never saw it going on. And I did spend a lot of time on the map. Also never saw it being advertised on the lfg.

1 guy said he managed to do the event chain and then posted LFG for the dogs and i saw someone claim that 1 of the dogs attacks where instant kill, but ive yet to see any events up around the foundry or seen LFG

The event seems to trigger if you do the "prevent reinforcements to arrive at the forge" event that starts at the area above the gate. BUT not all the time. I've done this event 3 times in a row and after the third ones it suddenly switched to "kill the priests of Balthazar and destroy the canonades".

Should probably continue every time or this event was totally unrelated. But it sure seemed to be one of it because it preceded the large event every time I did it.

That can't be it however. We did said event 5 times in a row and nothing triggered. Either it's only a chance for the follow-up to trigger, some other event is involved or it is bugged.

If it's really only a trigger chance, please change that. It's not really fun.
