dmone.5631
So I have a friend that currently living in Qatar and competed in 2nd Tbilisi International Dragon Boat Festival. They actually came in second place and she posted a image of the medal they received . I am pretty sure either someone likes/plays GW2 or they didn't know that was copyright infringement. =)
Danikat.8537
It's appropriate, since it's a dragon in the shape of the number 2. And makes for a pretty awesome medal. But yeah, not their design to use.I wonder if it was intentional and they assumed no one would find out, or if they didn't realise it's a copyrighted logo. I can't count how many times I've had to explain to someone at my work that "publicly available" is not the same as "in the public domain" and that being able to find an image in a Google search does not mean it's legal to use it. ChronoPinoyX.7923
I wouldn't call outright copypasta as "inspired". There's next to no changes on the actual logo aside from font colour which isn't enough to distinguish it as being a new design.
