What would be/you want to be the next big addition after gliding and mounts?

I would rather see charr vehicles than any of the others. I'm not particularly fond of the housing option and opted out of that because they glitch everything, I've seen other games do fishing and that's really boring as all get out, what the heck am i going to do with an airship?, and well I think guild wars is just perfect (or nearly so) the way it is. They gave us mounts that are actually useful, gliding, guild halls, home instances where we can place gathering nodes....I like the story lines, and when I do pvp and wvw I'm not always so lost in the masses that I can actually know what i"m doing. Charr vehicles would be cool, or even asuran vehicles....a little touch of modern/mechanical in the medieval style world? could be cool!

Basically all of the top three options (airships, housing, housing on airships), although normal ships would also work for me. In the past I've posted that I'd really love a personal airship home instance where it could (even if for a fee) be relocated to be 'docked'/'hovered' at different locations, as in you could set it to dock in the LA map then if you wanted the following week you could set it's dock location to DR. I think it would also be nice if we actually got a single player guild hall instance, as in a similar thing to sun's refuge where we could expand it through collections etc, only something in a nice location/map, and something that was worthwhile (not a half hearted thing that's designed for 1 story episode then becomes redundant).

Also I would like fishing if done in a fun minigame type of way, but I'd rather have the above.

I think we would get underwater improvements with the underwater expac, which I'm pretty sure is eventually going to happen as long as GW2 keeps going long enough. Housing/fishing don't really seem like expac level content, more like LW/free content, so maybe we'll get those in the next one or two LW seasons. Airships do not seem realistic for me at all in GW2 since multiple players with full size airships sounds like a complete disaster. Vehicles would probably just be added as mount skins, since they have the same functions.

The options for improvements are running out while the level cap remains and no significant upgrades are made to the game engine.About the only improvements could be cosmetic ones.Any major improvement needs to be something that most players would have some use for and none of the options in the poll come close.I suspect that Anet have shot themselves in the foot with the introduction of the mounts, because it leaves very little left to attract players.Better mounts would just make the existing ones redundant and then no players would want them.

an over haul of the water content. it feels like back in 2012 the community harpooned the water content and the dev's just put it in the to hard basket. we got a little quality of life with the swim speed but whats currently in the game where you can take advantage of it? HOTW, content that was left out to dry years ago well before the first Xpack. Underwater FOTM, one of the shorter fracs with 1/3 of it being transformed or carrying a light around. map meta's? not that i can think of. WBT, nope. WVW? nope. PVP? my understanding is the only map that had water got removed / edited.

it would also give them a reason to COMPLETE the second generation of legendary weapons and give us the only armour piece that had not yet gotten a legendary.

I won't say none of the options intrigue me but I will agree that I would much rather they improve existing content and greatly slow the introduction of new content, with the additional dream that when new content is introduced it comes after a long and considered development process so that when players inevitably complain anet is both able and willing to explain why they made the choices they did and why they won't be altering that content in the first week based on player feedback, bc I've always held an unfounded belief that if we'd just leave them alone anet would actually be better at designing games than we are . . .

Housing.. I just want to have my own inquest lab with a beautiful view on a lava crater. Drinking my cup of tea while experimenting on some skritts.. ah and a garden + library always cool to have some vegetations and furnitures.

Underwater really needs a rework and a lot of us are still waiting for an underwater mount.

Though I would also like a hero system. A lot of the old maps are really empty and some events can only be completed if you ask a friend or guildmate to help you.The hero would have a heavy case of social anxiety and excuse himself when some players are around. It would be nice if the hero could chatter a bit, giving trivia about the places you've been to, calling out the great view when you are at an especially nice place, or complain in disgust when you explore an ettin den. Skyrim has some awesome mods that do this and I kinda miss it in GW2.

Housing, but primarily in the sense of a Library. We have all this wonderful lore that turns up in books, some of which now have a lovely image when you open them so it actually looks like the page from a book and yet they are still just singular items that take up a lot of space in inventory. What if we could collect all this info from across Tyria and bring it back to our home instance just so that we could store it in our own library and peruse at our leisure? I'd love that! Almost like we used to do with the Eye of the North back in good old GW1.

We have mounts, and I love them.I loved heroes in GW1 so why not make something out of both.Instead of disappearing when attacking or dismounting, the selected mount becomes your "hero" and fights along your side.Masteries to unlock special skills. And every mount has a spec:Raptor si high damage.Bunny is controlSkimmer more about healingJackal support or boonsRoller beetle control? interrupt?Sckyscale: FIRE and FLAMES!

My personal dream B)

I voted "other" but yes I agree with you, Library would be cool but rather than as a home instance, I would prefer to have a Open World library. I'm thinking of a huge one , maybe somewhere in the mountains and run by some priory or other obscur order. It would be both a way to deliver and centralise lots of lore and story through the new book UI (old and new content could be updated regularly) and a place to socialise for lore geeks (thinking of sofa, terraces) and others (specific vendors...).

We could even imagine some new activities/events/festival/adventure/quests system(pick the most appropriate :-) ) around it, why not some treasure hunting with maps, ciphers, and riddles hidden in books. They could also use it to provide lore content such as they did with the Requiem parts.

Of course there could be some private instances as well for Story or access our own books in a private "vault". Such Library would be great I guess.

For me that would be first with Underwater/boats in second, I know they have lots of stuff to fix but I'm sure they could do great things with that. I'm sure an expansion with like 30-40% of water content, a reworked water combat and boats combat (like big ones we could manoeuvre thanks to the mastery systems for meta-events) and the rest inland could be a great expansion.
