Dragonfall Slayer Achievements for Events Don't Count?

Doing the slayer kill in area, isn't counting for creatures killed by events.Is this intentional?Only killing the creatures not part of events are counting towards the achievement.

If they are Branded, they aren't creatures associated with that area (needed for X Slayer).

It's like SE p1 ... you get dredge slaying potions but you fight nothing but inquest.

Agreed, the achievements discourage playing in group event activities which seems to go against the very core message of GW2.Now it's a race on who can kill creatures fast before another player shows up and takes credit for the kill.
