Sifu.9745
Is it just me, my bad luck or why is my condi Thief doing next to no dmg to Warriors (SB), other thieves, Necros, eles ... Same with condi Guardian, condi warrior, condi Mesmer (slightly better, but still sucks)? It looks like that only condi class left is Scourge (necro). RIP conditions in PoF PvP ... Lan.1968
It's you. if you're spamming caltrops near the enemy and wondering why they're not dead, it's very likely because your opponent knows what you're doing and isn't moving at all, triggering the caltrops. If you're spamming condis on a spellbreaker, he's actually full countering all your condis back at you for spamming skills. If you're spamming caltrops on other thieves, their dashes causes them to not even step on your bleeds while bursting you with damage. If you're fighting a necro, their specialty is cleansing condis and actually redirecting them back at you. Every class has condi cleanse, and some do a very good job at it, but people love to complain without actually knowing how to play their classes first. Drekor.5217
So many people running condi builds so many people run anti-condi builds. Hell SB's have like 90% uptime on resistance.Scourge can strip resistance easily and apply condi's frequently enough they don't really care that much about cleanses unless you are fighting them at range away from any shades. ArthurDent.9538
Spellbreaker has a massive uptime on resistance so unless you constantly vomit boon removal (are a scourge) then you can't really touch them. Fortunately spell breaker also has winning match ups against pretty much all power builds so either be a scourge, try to outnumber them, or run away. I don't spam caltroops neither traps, btw, i play with Venoms off course. But it's not just Thief, condi dmg on all my other condi classes/builds is also awful. I guess PoF PvP = burst is everything, go Power Berserker or go home?
