Fyrestorm Rayevnsky.5497
Hello all, just started levelling an ele and thought I'd try pvp out, you know to learn rotations skills yadda yadda yadda,.It seem though that although I know I'm squishy I'm constantly getting murdered in a most brutal fashion before I can even get 2 skills off.Now I know I'm new and muscle memory will eventually kick in but is there a build or a trick to surviving.I know most will say git gud or learn to play but kinda hard when your minced finer than purina cat chow with stun locks ccs unblockables in under 3 seconds.Any help gratefully appreciated.Ty x
Megametzler.5729
Ele currently is one of the hardest classes to get into PvP, along with thief. Both have the issue of being incredibly squishy if you don't know defensive rotations, map awarness and stuff.I can only recommend: If you can, learn the skills in PvE. A good build to get going in PVP is either:https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Weaver_-_Mender%27s_SwordThis is a bunker for solo play. You don't have that much health, but you have good healing, many evades and can therefor learn how to play against single opponents and when and where to disengage and kite.Or:https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Tempest_-_Staff_SupportThis is more of a team support build. You can stick with others and focus on healing and reviving and using terrain. Both are subpar in their roles though, so you have to live with your life being a bit harder than when playing other builds. But ele is still great fun once you get the hang of it so don't give up!
FrownyClown.8402
I also recommend you look at the meta pvp builds for other classes and learn how they work. A big part is muscle memory and another is learning counterplay. I recommend watching videos of great players as that is the quickest way to learn new things
