Name Release from another account

I have 4 accounts.. 3 were bought for my kids who are all now have Family and one account had a name I want to use to rename my character so I deleted that character from one of my other accounts. Will this release the name so I cna use it to rename one of my characters. How long, I tries today with no success. I deleted the character 3 days ago.

When a character is deleted, the name is held for 24 hours. Once that 24 hour period is up, then the name can be used by anyone.

If you already can't use it, it means that after the 24 hours was up, but before you tried, someone else claimed the name.

If it wasent taken during the 3 days I dont think you would have to have worried about it to much bud

There are about four or five names I try on my keyrunner every week, just curious as to whether they have become available. IIRC I did get one of them once that way, but idk it's been so long now maybe I'm misremembering . . .

Still, if it's a name that's important to him and that he really wants to keep, making sure he owns the account it is on is something that he should do until the account he wants it on is ready.
