Ghastly Grinning shield

The street price is what's on the TP for all items that can be directly traded, with the sole exception being the few infusions that sell for over 10k (and that's only because the TP has a hard limit of 10k for offers).

There are two sources of the skin, both available on the TP:https://www.gw2tp.com/search?name=ghastlyhttps://www.gw2bltc.com/en/tp/search?name=ghastly

caveats: the only way to safely trade is via the TP. The 15% in fees is painful and yet is (a) good for the game (as a gold sink) and (b) small price to pay to guarantee your coin|items. While only a fraction of people trading player-to-player get scammed, ANet will not do anything if it happens to you.

Here's support GL Dornsinger's reminder about the dangers:

https://redd.it/c3hmr8For many of you, this will not be news,

1) The customer support team cannot endorse trades outside of the trade post.

! The trade post was created in Guild Wars 2 as the safe and sole means of trade. Yes, it will not yield you 100% profit from the 3000 Gold you ask for; but it is secure, you cannot be scammed by it.

2)
The customer support team is unlikely to help recover items in most scamming cases.

! We cannot multiply value in the game. If an item was taken from you, but it was not destroyed or recovered from an account that received your item, then it is still in the game’s economy and we cannot make another for you. That would be duping by us and not something we can consider. We can and do action the account that defrauded you if our logs can prove that is what happened, but that may be only a small comfort for anyone who lost valuable items.

3)
If it sounds too good to be true…

! The mods of this subreddit are trying their best to keep everyone safe. They have posts here that remind you of common-sense practices, warn of people reported to have scammed and so on. However, none of these can keep you perfectly safe. Scammers can make new accounts, or scrupulously take accounts from other users for their deeds. And while the customer support team will do anything possible at all to help, it may still be too late for the items you had wanted to trade.

All in all, please be smart, be safe.

GW2TP says there are 63 available.

I was talking about the shield, not the skin though. There are no selling offers on thiese. Why make the distinction? The value to any but an ardent collector is the skin and there are so few collectors like that "street value" is whatever price the first one you can find is willing to pay.

Regardless, the links provided show the historical value and there was a sell listing as late ago as last week; the market will not have changed substantially in that time, since historically the TP supply has run from 0 to 3 and the sell listings have been around 1000-1500 throughout.

Mainly because, the shield itself is a discontinued item, in many other MMO's those were gaining a lot of worth as the time goes by. Even if they had no practical usage ( like partyhats in RuneScape for example) and thats why I wanted to know.

Thank you all for your effort, I appreciate it :)

GGS (the weapon) just isn't one of those, which is why it has a TP price that (finally) mirrors the price of the skin.

and thats why I wanted to know.Good reason :)My apologies for not thinking of it.

Thank you all for your effort, I appreciate it :)Quite welcome.
