Please put a concede button into pvp

I gave up on hoping the matchmaking will become any better after 18 seasons, but if there is something that might improve things just a little is putting a concede button into pvp. Why you ask? 70!% of my ranked matches in the middle of gold are either absolutely one-sided win or absolutely one-sided lost, like 500-30 or something like that. Most of the time, it's clear from the first fight that you going to win or lose and when get demolished by the enemy or you demolish them without a single res needed. Then you spend the next 13-15 minutes in a match that has no point to go on, the results are already decided. Instead of be able to give up, you are forced to sit through 10+ agonizing minutes instead of simply giving the match to the enemy team and move on to the next match where you might get better teammates.

Put a concede button in it please, Arenanet and don't waste time on matches that your system already decided before the match started. Like the kick system, if 3/5 people concede the match, it's over or whatever, but I got realy tired of sitting though these one-sided matches, either on the loosing or the winning side. It's. Not. Fun. And yeah, you can say maybe the matches are different in other tiers, but I'm not there, so I don't care.

No. Stop giving up and do your best to win. Somehow I get the feeling that the people who ask this stuff are probably the ones that type "gg" after the first mid fight in the game is lost.

A concede option should only appear when a team starts off or becomes outnumbered.

Asking for a concede button because you are losing is just bad sportsmanship and being a sore loser.

There is no reason to help you manipulate matches any faster.

When party members go AFK, the match should be cancelled if it's in Ranked or Tournaments, and those going AFK greatly punished, starting with ot being able to join ranked matches for the rest of the day, and eventually not being able to join Ranked matches for the rest of the season, but ending the match early should not be directly in the player's hands.

that's another great way to match manipulate, get a friend on an alt account, when you feel you gonna lose he just afks and saves you from that rating loss

I just ask for a smarter way to detect ppl afk, like haven't use a skill for 10 secs, havent moved x range in the past 10 secs or something like that, something that is really unlikelly to happen if the person is actually playing.

And a safe to leave message when ppl afk or the game is 4v5

I’d prefer a concede button and getting into another game quicker, rather than one dude going afk wasting everyone’s time.

You can’t stop afkers. But you can spare people their time. I’m all for “Everyone keep trying!!! Keep fighting!!!” but not everyone is gonna listen or believe a comeback can be made. This will always be a factor in team vs team.

If this means players across pvp start having games that only last an average of 5 min.Well then /gg; this is the cost of having a install base that is majority solo players forced into a team game.

People seem to think that "never give up" or "just keep fighting" will turn a 200-20 game into a close match. In this type of game players are unable to stay as an organized team and are completely outclassed, and the game just snowballs into a one sided match within the first few minutes. People go afk so the game is as short as possible. That being said, people would likely abuse a concede option making matches even worse than they are now.

It’ll be abused and many fights deemed a loss can technically still be salvaged. I’ve seen this numerous times in the past and on streams.

Totally understandable but everyone's already in the match and iys just a game u play for fun might as well try till the end. Ur right tho a 400-20 game prob isnt gonna tilt the other way at any time but u might still have some decent fights :) plus gives the team ur with whos prob new players learning more experience of the importance of team play and just experience over all.unless ofcourse ur not playing cuz u find the game fun but just for the wins, then I could see the screw this one sided match ima afk to quicken match mentality cuz I'd be frustrating for that person lol

You never improve if you give up at any difficulty. Even on a Lost match 4v5 or whatever, i enjoy finding a way to get experience from the fights.

lol dont ask for the button, just dont play pvp. go out to the park n have a walk n then go to the REAL arcade place n play some real PvP arcade game like Street Fighter 2, Samurai Warriors, etc. where u stand next to a real person, elbow to elbow, jostling for space as u mash your A,B,C,D n X,Y buttons n move the joystick back n forth until you scrapped the skin off your finger n shake the whole arcade console like it's an earthquake :) now that's real PvP that u cant just Concede.

There are ways to detect the behavior of alt account s and tied to to a main account. It won't be fun for them when they get all their accounts punished, alt or not.

what time you're playing? I play most of my matches around reset time, max 4 hours earlier, and my matchea are not that one-sided 500 to 300 most of em, 10% are closer or 500-150, but never that one-sided

Yes, Everyone wants to be able to not waste time if there is a afk on your team i understand that... However.

what would stop people from doing what was done in gw1 which was red resign where the red team would always resign this would give people a super-easy way to exploit farming rewards from spvp..

afkers are not that common im sorry and for every one that makes you lose a game there is another that will give you a free win...

It's to bad game couldnt recognize a player thsts afk for over a minute and auto kick player, no reward or penalty. When u q for a match it informs u that ur going to join a match in progress to fill the spot that way u can agree or cancel. I bet a lot of players would say agree and fill the spot.
