ADifferentTan.5048
On Raptor and Jackal, it's still happening.Based on my testing -- the problem can be made to occur when a character stands on terrain in such a way to cause the mount to spawn at an incline. For example, spawning the mount while standing at the foot of a very steep hill. But, it's not consistent: I can move a few steps sideways by that same hill, still spawn the mount in an inclined position, but still be properly seated on the saddle. In any case, if the character is properly seated at mount-up, no amount of subsequent attitude contortions will materialize the bug as long as I do not demount. I sent in a report with a screenshot from my asura on a default jackal. It's really bad. And this only started with the patch yesterday. What Area/Sub-Area did you put the bug under because I can't find anything for 'Mounts'?I did it under PVE/ Environment. Couldn't find anything for mounts either, and it seems to be reacting to the environment, so...

Mounted on flat ground in Lion's Arch, went to a flight of stairs and.... slipped off.
Airyll.7849
I've had this, too. I don't know what caused it either - mounts don't always bug this way for me and I've only been able to reproduce it yet, though I haven't really made any efforts to, either. Glad it wasn't just me though - my other half at the time couldn't replicate the bug and didn't have any issues so I wondered if it was some weird thing I'd done. Ice.7956
As the title says; my character literally either floats above it or sits along side it, but never on it. Please help!

Hamfast.8719
My Valkyrie character was on duty, seeking out brave fallen warriors and escorting them to Valhalla. When she took her Raptor mount up an incline, she came unglued from the saddle. Fortunately, she had a good grip on the reins. Not trusting her obviously defective saddle to such an important mission, she switched over to her Springer. Oops! Are they making saddles out of banana peels these days? Her Skimmer was next on the list. This time she remained mounted, and there was even a bonus. She no longer gets her tushy tickled! See? The tail goes right up and over her head!Next up: the Jackal. Whoa, doggy!Time for the Griffon to shine! (She didn't want to fall off while flying. This is a good example of "side-shifting" though.)My poor Valkyrie! Falling behind on her quota! Ahh... the Roller Beetle! That'll help her get caught up in no time! Nuts... no dice! (Talk about a "big mount bug"...)Surely the Warclaw won't fail! Hmm... more saddle problems, but at least she's top dog on the totem pole. One mount to go... come on, Skyscale! Drat... these things should come equipped with airbags. That's all. No more mounts. At least a Valkyrie has wings. It's just kind of hard making a fallen warrior look heroic when you fly them to Valhalla carrying them in your arms like a baby.Okay... I obviously like making screen captures and telling stories with them. But don't let the fact that I'm having fun with this stop you from fixing the bug. kimtingen.6472
I noticed that when you are looking straight down at the mount and just spin around without moving the character rotate in a circle around the saddle in the opposite direction of the mounts turning. If you mount it, lets say facing north you are sitting normal, but if you turn to a side, say west and move a little forward, or backward, then the character get offset on the saddle to the right side and either backward, or forward depending if you are moving forward or backward. Also when making sharp turns with the springer the character get lifted up above the saddle. (..or bunny-goat as I call it, because how it look and sound.) Another thing is when the mount is standing in a hill and you're turning in a circle, then the character circles the saddle in the opposite direction as the mount it turning, but it doesn't circle on the same angle, meaning the character is completely horisontal and move into the mount if the hill is steep enough. Yumenei.7943
I've noticed this issue few days (maybe a week) ago after one of the updates. Player is no longer 'glued" to the sadde, and instead his position shifts when riding a mount on slopes. This issue most commonly had been observed on a raptor. I believe the best way to reproduce this issue is to mount a raptor on a slopped terrain - it works 3/5 times for me. Here is video: Pay attention to how character moves on the saddle. Edit:Sorry, only now I've noticed there's already big mount thread.
Mewcifer.5198
It seems to be associated with being on a slope.https://gyazo.com/98793120eb4880046c9c4877db546ef8 Here is a fun clip of me spinning in a circlehttps://gyazo.com/6ef35fce26395b145f34d54d4e8e0238 Here is a clip where I start on flat ground then go up a slope
Hikarifuxi.4761
My friends and I can confirm this bug on all mounts as well, but, not sure if anybody mentioned it here already but this bug doesn't only appear on the mount saddle. It also affects some chairs when used on a non flat ground.xD
Hamfast.8719
Here's a shot of one of my Asura characters grabbing some air. This has long been a problem for the Asura. I experienced this waaaaaay back before the old Lion's Arch was destroyed. Here's an old Halloween picture where my little witch Asura came unmounted from her broomstick. We've got to do something about this glitch! Enough is enough!
