GuardianStand Your Ground: Reduce the stacks of stability granted by this ability from 5 to 3 in WvW.Tome of Courage, Chapter 5 - Unbroken Lines: This skill no longer grants aegis or retaliation.Tome of Resolve, Chapter 2 - Radiant Recovery: The existing split from PvP of cleansing 2 conditions is brought to WvW as well. This ability would continue to cleanse 3 conditions in PvE.Tome of Courage, Chapter 2 - Daring Challenge: This skill grants retaliation for 3 seconds instead of aegis.Sanctuary: Increase number of enemies that can be knocked back by this skill from 10 to 20 before it expires.

don't like that they are removing aegis and guard needs less retal imo.

Fixed that for you. That's what the notes actually say. The Aegis is not getting removed but the retal is.

don't like that they are removing aegis and guard needs less retal imo.

The retal needs to be shuffled correctly into traitlines and skills that Support Firebrand doesn't use.In other words, damage oriented Guardians actually need more retal while supports could do without it.Places like Radiance, Scepter and GS need good retal access while Mace, Valor and Staff shouldn't have it.

The retal needs to be shuffled correctly into traitlines and skills that Support Firebrand doesn't use.In other words, damage oriented Guardians actually need more retal while supports could do without it.Places like Radiance, Scepter and GS need good retal access while Mace, Valor and Staff shouldn't have it.

eh radiance and gs have tons of retal. mace valor and staff don't have any so I don't know what you're on about. nerf list in my signature has some suggestions, but its nerfs only.

eh radiance and gs have tons of retal. mace valor and staff don't have any so I don't know what you're on about. nerf list in my signature has some suggestions, but its nerfs only.

Those were just examples, not specific.Point being that I don't think Guard has too much retal atm. Where it does have it is deservedly there.

Hmm just a observation here on Retaliation. When it is only on the Guardian and not on their whole party or squad it is generally a none issue for damage , the whole reason Retaliation is mainly used is when can be applied party wide so as to punish ranged AoE attacks that generally suffer little risk for originating player of the attack and other than that the only reason want to maintain any bonus effects you gain from (such as Righteous Instincts Critical bonus).

The funny part is Anet supposedly trying to reduce FB support effectiveness, yet remove the single target personal aegis and keep the aoe one. Logic ?

In any case, everything In GW2 lately has been a rolling ball of idiocy. The current Anet management, devs and forum moderation are killing any good well left in the game.
