Spell casting

I have way more things i want to cast than I have slots at the bottom of my screen. Is there a way to cast them other than selecting 1-9 keys?

No, it's just those ten skills you see at the bottom. As long as you're out of combat, you can switch your weapons and utility skills, but that's it.

This is by design - Anet want players to have to think about which skills (and traits) to use in different situations rather than simply having access to everything all the time, so you have to choose skills to use. But you can swap them any time you're out of combat, and depending on your profession you'll have options like weapon swapping, engineer kits, elementalist attunements etc. which let you swap some of the skills on your bar while you're in combat.

So you'll never have access to everything all the time, but it is possible to have more than 10 skills available.

Also, remember that you can switch your set of 1-5 skills in combat, by weapon swap (or for the Elementalist - attunement).
