Does warclaw speed increase translate to PvE?

When you spend Ability Points to increase the speed of your warclaw, does that affect how fast it moves in PvE?

I use presets on my number pad to allow for mount selection. It saves time swapping from springer to griffin to skimmer to raptor..

I have all keybound but raptor which I try to keep as default mount. Suppose it's time to make him keybound too.
