Back to zerker meta

Power damage is so heavy at the moment that we are very nearly back to the old "zerker" situation.

For me, this is a nightmare. I'm relatively slow on the controls, ( because of physical issues,) despite spending 100's of USD on special equipment and years now of practice. We're right back to what I remember from the first year of GW2. Thief bursts from nowhere, whispers you to gloat. I even encountered a stun lock hammer SB.

The devs have stated in the past that they wanted gw2 more like a first-person shooter. Indeed, the recent idea floated to make capture points smaller points to the idea that the devs want to force players closer together and faster combat.

Making pvp generally harder and reliant on twitch skills will degrade the quality and alienate new people at a higher rate. ANET needs to be going the other direction. What we need is strategy, not reaction time contests.

My old Thai Chi teacher told me; "Anyone can go fast and look good. Speed covers up mistakes and bad technique." He was so right.

With older specs I only see sometimes mantra mes (which is kinda unviable in pvp) and thieves that can burst and ocasionally a core guardian, but thats basically it. I don't know, I don't really see ur problem.

Soon there will be balance patch and new amulets. We are also just after one AT Monthly right now so meta isn't settled yet. We still don't know what's the place of old HoT spec's and many PoF spec's seems to underperform. Maybe we didn't found their purpose yet...OLD Hot meta needed 3 season's to be crafted.
