You know thief is still borked like the last patch and mesmer can still spam conditions like before, guard is also the same like last patch, just everything else got the axe. Don't pretend that thief makes the game better without it it will be way better.

someone was saying they were getting 13k vaults in pvp. thats def a meme build tho. you can get decent damage non meme (if zerker is somehow not meme anymore, idk). might have been using that power boost signet whatever its called.

And i think the oldy cheese condi build is back since the meta leans to condies again.

You can play staff/staff with valk+daredevil crits trickery daredevil for 2v2s and it’s probably the best thief build for solo Qing 2v2 rn. From what I’ve seen u just spam dodges and vaults and against say a necro that can crit for 13k but it’s pretty rare it’s more about actually having sustain since acro nerfs pushed everything thief out of 2v2s and can actually do good damage some times while sustaining.I’d say it’s a little more than a meme rn but it’s countered pretty well by guardian and isn’t exactly an op duo with firebrand

Well only real problem with valk is 1 classes that run lots of blocks aka guardian and here it’s meme like, but anything without that like necro will be pure food against actual 9k-13k vaults. Another problem with it is the mid tier trait of crits is a pretty useless trait , but hey to fix these obvious problem of lack of precision further made worse by blocks is just change the build a little as I can play- knights paladins, mauraders or some claim zerk and have precision making more room to play also u can just skip crits and go deadly arts for some unblockable damage.So pretty much there’s some build variety that can be used to prevent it from become memey or useless in 2v2s but against most comps as your bound to see anything in 2v2 solo qs your best off with valk becuz it’s tanky and does the best damage for vaults which if u land can literally turn a fight from even into fully in your favor
