we are speaking about traits that boost the effect of protection....Elementalist Profession does not specialize in Protection and they do not need it

-Elementalist Profession conjurers elemental forces and just because it have the lowest stats doesn't make them weak, don't underestimate Elementalist Profession.

Nah. Having protection, even amplified protection, be part of builds is fine, if its a limited thing. That way it creates a back and forth, with the engineer trying to time it for a big burst reduction, and the enemy carefully keeping their boon rip/corrupt ready to deal with it. The only issue is that Prot Holo got a bit too much of it.
