WvW Original Severs

ok, first of all , i do not mean to open a fight/blame-related topic, and 2nd i hope Devs look into it and maybe reconsider it.

I, and i think many others, would like the Original servers back. I am from Whiteside Ridge, a low server, the linking opened a different world and i do enjoy the fight, but imo it also became more toxic, bigger servers blame the "lesser" server for anything, the "lesser'" servers blame the big server, and everything became way more toxic. We experienced this and all leveled, but for me, as for 99% of WSR, its enough :) - i realy hope someday we have our own little server back, we lost people to this, and im sure they return when WSR is alone again. Where we actually do effort to win, and perhaps lose more, but having more fun. And nr 1 server etc, doesnt excist these days. I hope people understand the meaning if this, and pray that it might happen again :)

So you have [Ez] on your server, right? Tell them greetings from Josteinn (me). They'll probably rage but they're very good at it. We've had some fun times when we were linked (and I mean that).I get where you're coming from, but I'm not so sure it will become reality. The old times without 24/7 blobs were sure more fun.

Eta: In the end i guess everybody is just burned out and that leads to all these stupid fights.

There should be another poll to see where we all stand on this issue.

On the average day you'll see a post about too many people and more posts about too few people, locked host servers and unfair links.

De-linking would solve 1 of those issues for most servers, but they'd probably still be against it. Anyway, there should be another vote.

Server linking was voted in by the majority and is now a permanent feature to wvw.

Since the linking and rewards update, a dev clearly told us that more people are participation in wvw.

I'm sure the devs would love to unlink, and even have 50 more individual servers, but there are not enough players participating in wvw to fill up these servers. This game is not that popular, professions are awful for the pvp modes and not reworked, nothing major is done to improve pvp modes... and the list goes on... If you want tons more people playing the game, and filling up servers so you can have everything unlinked, then fight hard to get the devs to revamp wvw, revamp profession, fix a ton of annoying combat mechanics, ..., ..., ... so people actually want to come back and stick with wvw. Edit- and rewards are still awful too, so that needs work as well. Edit 2- And the devs need to work on the very poor engine...

I agree minus your first Edit :tongue:A high coverage is masking the balance problems GW2 has got, they would become painfully obvious were there less players.

Ez, im not sure where they are from, might have seen them.I do know there has been voted for this, and all seems ok when its started, but things are just getting from bad to worse, all servers are messed up cause people switched from all servers, and yet the smaller servers might have issues again, which cant be solved, but to be honest, like this it also takes a lot of fun away, the toxic became worse than wvw had before, at least with some linkings, not all

so yea i doubt this can be reversed

Sorry haven't logged in a bit but yeah I KNOW it was voted but it the vote was DURING all the hype of server linking, my point is a new vote to see if it is STILL the popular choice of those currently playing has been a subject brought up by multiple people.
