Stuck in 'Establishing a Foothold' instance.

Recommended Posts

Message says to go back to jungle and earn mastery. That's fine and all, but I can't. I'm stuck in the instance 'Establishing a Foothold'. There is no option to quit it as it says I can't change story while in instance. I can't wander out of the instance area as it teleports me back to the 'tutorial'. I've done the quests in the instance. I can't tell it to add exp to my glider, it defaults to my pact line and I can't change it. I'm at 94% towards my glider and I can't finish it off and I can't leave. What the hell am I supposed to do?

You got 3 diffrent mastery experience bars.Your pact commander line you speak off is core experience, so the map before any expansion hit.You need to go and earn heart of thorns experience in any of that expansion maps or season 3. (bloodstone fen and sirens landing for example)Then you got mounts if you have path of fire and thats another line you can only earn experience for in the maps begining at path of fire maps crystal oasis.

(There is no instance for this 'mission'.)

My story tab kept calling it an 'instance'. There was only one exit I could find and it had a big red circle with a line through it. My map brings up the 'instance' showing all the orange area outside of the instance and any time I tried go into that orange area I got teleported back into the instanced area. I finally found a way to get out. I used the PVP tab to go to the PVP staging area and then I took a portal to Lion's Arch. Once out I could go back to that area that was no longer an instance and found a way to earn exp for my glider. I have not since done that story line again yet. I'll see later if it finally works right for me.
