PvP Toggle and Safe Zones

Let me start with what happened just minutes ago! I'm Bandit Purse farming for Justice of Blades of achievement. Im 4 champs in, 2 players show up before i get the executioner to spawn! Yes, i tag, mentor up set a WP mid fight. Im going to need help with this so they are right on time! One player lvl300+. The other just a little over me, around 220 or so. Dont you know this mofo completley ditched the fight after all 3 of us aggro'd the hell out of this NPC! Needless to say i died, spawned at the nearest WP and chased them down to deliver sweet justice to these clowns before i realized aaaarrrrrrrg no PvP toggle or safe zones in PvE. Which brings me to this... Every MMORPG i have played has had said mechanics. Blades and Rings, Blade & Soul, League of Angels, Neverwinter if remember correctly to name a few and its a lot more i cant call right off the top. Which resulted in not just keeping toxic players in line but it made for the most fun on any map at any giving time. Especially if you forgot to toggle off and that person you was talking smack to showed up out of no where. lmao it was epic times. Dungeons, world and weekly bosses were awesome! We would battle the bosses at the same time fending off other players who were either random or in a squad who were trying to get the last hit so their squad would get the loot drop! OMG the salt was real. Then you had to fight your way out the dungeon. We had players in the dungeon on shifts when the bosses were due to spawn. Needless to say everyone new the Meta so that was a unsolicited pre-battle so your party can get in without getting murdered. I've seen one on ones turn into squad battles in the middle of quests with a slew of on -lookers cheering on their favorites. The chat was always lit! It was the best! When your guild mate was in trouble you would hear that warhorn and it was great showing up to the fight 20 to 30 deep all on mounts only to realize yall are outnumbered and yall still beat them down until they quit or say sorry and then everybody get back to their daily grind. lmao. And the WvW im used to, was just that WORLD Vs WORLD! Asia, EU, NA, SA, and Aus! It was one big royal rumble to be the top seed and claim the crown. Your guild got buffs and daily chests for a week before the next battle was scheduled to see if you can repeat or be dethroned the following Sunday. Sorry for the long story to whoever takes up a read. PvP Toggle, Arena??? Think about it. It will boost the player base, bringing in new and bringing old players back! Think about it.

IDK if you are being sarcastic Sigmoid or genuinely pointing in a direction. But you skating on thin ice. As for Aliam thanks bro. Someone who speaks like they have played MMOS with that feature. Understood Aliam People hear PvP and instantly get scared. I get it not for this dwindling player count. Where the toxic can be toxic and refuse to come to that map they cal PvP, cool. lmaoAs for you Sig, if you have never played im going to need you to(TOGGLE)your replies off. Especially if you cant be respectable and understanding.

Skating on thin ice...yeah, no. The one who is not being respectful or understanding here is you. All I have said is if you actually use the search function you would have the answer to your question. You're looking for answers and discussion on an already well established topic... Searching provides you with plenty of sources for the question you directly asked. In short people don't want it in this game. I've played plenty of games with it in but that is completely besides the point of it a) not belonging on this game and b) being talked to death. There are so many discussions on this and I am sorry that pointing you on the direction of references to your direct question comes across as hostile.

Dial your completely misplaced and unwarranted aggression back.

A strong no thanks to open world PvP.It's already more than annoying enough that random people in WvW kill me waiting for the Veteran monsters to spawn.

I think there would be nothing wrong with making a few maps in the open world with rewarding (but in absolutely no way mandatory) things to do but also allow PvP.
