What do you guys think? Lots of clone generation, blindness, blocking, target breaking.

How I play: Get a lot of clones out with scepter and just spam ambushes. For the ultimate attack use distortion with 3 clones and then clone utility with scepter auto, jut run and grab mirrors for 4-5 seconds of ambushes, also Jaunt for added confusion as the aoe is big and jaunt onto the crystals to grab them quick. So much torment and confusion stacks. The sword and torch are for defense if you are in a bind, dash sword ambush to leap away, torch to stealth, sword 2 to evades. Take advantage of Jaunt and use on targets when you have mirage. Phantasmal swordsman is good to gain might and then just shatter it. When you shatter you gain vigor so you want to make sure that if you are going to shatter you get clones back real quick that is why scepter sword combo is so awesome for this. Thoughts?

No I have not tried ineptitude, the thing is I was going to use sword/torch for utility rather than offense, also I already inflict so much confusion faster with ether barrage. The reason with so many clones is that I want 100% clone up time while still being able to shatter 3 clones with every shatter to gain vigor for the next ether barrage "storm".

I tried similar build, but I got annoyed by scepter ambush very fast. It's way too clunky in its channeling/single target nature to me. I run scepter/torch in PvP as a mirage, but I often just ignore the ambush and do something else instead.

I find IH builds far more appealing and fun with other ambushes (mostly sword, but also gs and staff). Scepter one seems powerful on paper, but in reality, it is kind of underwhelming and annoying. My opinion.

If by clunky you mean that the projectiles are easy to dodge, scepter speed up helps with that, and also I tend to fight in 400-500 range with it. Also illusionary Ambush will help change targets, when I was running yesterday I was dropping people left and right because they would get 20 stacks of confusion/torment in 2 seconds and then another and then another. Now I am in no way a high ranked player, haven't stepped into rank yet, but I did have a lot of fun with it.
