Dutchdevil.6902
I have to say I am loving the latest map with the sectors that need to be captured. I also like the amount of loot we get there. So I am hoping Anet will make more of these kind of maps with the good amount of loot. Playing this map much more then the other more standard living world maps. What do you guys think? More of this or not?Keep up this good work anet. If I don’t like something I say it also. So a good update should be commended
Randulf.7614
It’s an ok map, but even if it was excellent I’d still say no to too many more like it. It's an interesting gimmick (not entirely well executed, but along the right lines) but too much of a gimmick dilutes both the maps and the appetite for them. There is def a place for these battle style meta maps because it mixes things up occasionally although Silverwastes still remains the best and most organic one for me. Few and far between is better for this type, although this is prob what Kourna should have been made into, rather than the rubbish we were handed.I prefer a more exploration focused map bustling with things to do myself. I’ve not found myself gravitating to Drizzlewood at all after the first couple of days, whereas most LS maps keep me going for a few weeks. Rex.3602
I do like this capture points style map, maybe because I also like wvw hehe =) . Some more of these kind of maps would be great, but the way the events and capture point time limits work would need better implementation than what we currently have in Drizzlewood Coast to be fun in the long-term. Solvar.7953
I'm not likely to complain about getting lots of loot. But I find the meta on drizzlewood too long and repetitive. Escort A to B, where you get some popup mobs along the way that you kill. Capture a base, requires killing a bunch of people in it - only the boss mechanic is really different. And repeat this 2 more times for each side of the map. And the meta seems to take about 2 hours from start to finish, and map progress (reward) is lost if you leave the map, so this is really not casual/I have 30 minutes to play tonight type of map. In my opinion the amount of kills required to spawn the boss is too long. It's boring and repetitive, and only seems to be so long in order to waste as much time as possible to make the bosses a dps race about beating the time limit. It results in either tons of extra time left over after capture (if there is lots of people to kill the mobs fast) or little time left to try to capture after the boss spawns (if there are not many people participating). Cragga the Eighty Third.60
Of every map in the game, this is the one where I want to go camping.
