I know some of these would look more like a Barbarian or a mage, but still you get the idea. give us something different, no buttflaps, no coats, no clothes from the neck to our waist without showing an ounce of skin, give us some variety please! this is the only MMO I know where i can't have my character have at least ONE option like this.
some outfits are really good at this, but most of the skimpier ones are more on the "mage" side. doesn't reallt fit a rogue/thief/assassin, who should wear something without coats.

Both Light and Heavy armour have some decent variety in armour. Medium armour is 99.99% coats, coats and more coats.

There's more to medium armour than coats guys...

Notice the lack of butterflies, sparkles, crystals, auras, etc but most importantly the shape. It looks like an axe, it's shaped for its purpose: hacking and slashing. More like this please :)

I gladly would if the skins were worth it. But most of the gem skins are still trenchcoats on males. Viper is not and I already have it but it makes me squirm on my chair every time I look at it. Seriously, I always find myself squirming and tilting my head while trying to look at it so my toon doesn't look weirdly crooked. And Striders is hideously un-fitting. Makes the dude look like a barrel with limbs (although it's not as bad as Runic). I'm still bitter about Krytan looking so cool on females and being a two-fit-in-one megacoat on males.

Yes please.I hate that as someone who plays a male character with medium armor I'm forced to wear outfits if I want something simple and form fitting.A bare chest for males would fix a lot but knowing them they'd make it like the invisible feet and it be incredibly hard to get.

Yes, this, please, 1,000 times this! Heavy and Light armors, I find, have so much variety, but medium armor is all the same! I hate PvP, but I actually did PvP just to get Glorious Armor for my thief so I could have something that wasn't a damn trenchcoat! Why do only Scholars and Soldiers get variety? Why do they get a wide array of different styles, while adventurers have nothing but coats, coats, and more coats?!

Please Anet, give Adventurer classes some actual options! Y'know, options that aren't strictly gem store crap.

Edit: Final thought; Anet, if you're really listening to your players, then why have you been ignoring this, that we've all been asking for, for literal years? Each patch that adds new armor is always a massive disappointment when it comes to medium armor. Some creativity in your design choices for medium armor would be appreciated.
