Metaton.2308
Hello all, I would need some help. I updated all drivers, bios, and my display driver (I have an 2080 ti) so I downloaded the latest nvidia driver. When I logged onto the game everything has a red hue, the whole screen has a reddish -purple shade. Anybody can help how this could be resolved? Is this a gw2 bug?I reinstalled gw2 completely it did not help at all. Please send help.

Stelawrat.6589
"everything has a red hue, the whole screen has a reddish -purple shade."I'm guessing that you tried different maps / characters, so if it only happens when you log into GW2, then I imagine that it must have something to do with your in game graphics options settings. What would cause that though, I'm sorry to say, I don't have a clue...
Metaton.2308
No not only when I log in, unfortunately it is like that everywhere and always. I tried different maps and characters, the problem persist.
Metaton.2308
OK I am not sure if anyone from Anet reading this, but there is definitely an incompatibility between GW2 and the last couple of Nvidia drivers released for Geforce 2080 ti. When I rolled back to an older driver the problem was gone . (I needed to roll back to the one which has been released in April) The last two or three drivers are not compatible with the game and will cause red hell. Stelawrat.6589
Well I'm glad that you solved the problem. I imagine that there must be other players with that same card, or considering upgrading to it.I can only vouch for the older generation NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, which has never given me any problems, yet... Metaton.2308
The cards is good, no problems with other games so far, and older driver works perfectly for GW2. I think they changed something in the new ones and that is causing the incompatibility.
