PSA - Zephyrite Curio Box giving wrong loot table

I turned in my WvW potions and got 5 Zephyrite Curio Boxes. When I opened them, I got pretty much junk. Thinking I had just been unlucky, I worked through the reward track again, and this time hit "Preview". What comes up are the rewards for the regular Zeph boxes (Zephyrite Supply Box) - it even says that in the preview panel!

So it appears to be a bug.

In prior years it has been the same thing except there was no mini Molten Firestorm or Scarlet's Rainbow.The only functional difference is you might get 25 tokens or quartz instead of just one.

I highly recommend doing a more lucrative WvW track (on average around 20g) and just buying the boxes if you intend to gamble on them. With PvP at least the matches in 2v2 are far quicker, but the reward track in WvW is too time consuming to what amount to less than 3 gold total for the entire track.

Note that the Zephyrite Curio Box from the Blessing of the Four Winds daily achievements is not the same as the Zephyrite Curio Box from WvW/PVP reward tracks. The one from dailies does not have any materials.

I did note that. Problem is that they use the exact same picture, and exact same name.

However, as I indicated, when you preview the box, the page that opens gives loot table for another named item.

Bug or intended ripoff makes no difference to folks who are just trying to participate in the festival theme "just for fun" - which is why I and a few pals all set everything to the Zeph stuff. It should be fixed, relabeled, or whatever.

Are you previewing from the reward track box linked in chat or using a chat link?There's two separate distinct items.
