Problem with daredevil´s staff !?

Hello ! Staff skill 5 sometimes misses! Especially in long distance jumps. i only play WvW and PvP so i don't know if the same thing happens in PvE.This recording was taken in the gilded hollow of the clan hall and in the armistice bastion

That could also be a bad AoE decal. I recall checking in another thread(something related to sourge shade skills) and the decal was quite a bit bigger than they should be although the skills functioned at the correct range. There are some skills that incorrectly scales those things with character size as well.
