Why is PoF still so excessive?

The maps are basically empty because mobs are excessive and rewards are mediocre.

I see no reason for PoF to be languishing this way as the zones are some of the most beautiful ever created in the game. I still need to get my griffon and literally never see anyone in the Crystal Oasis doing bounties so I've been stuck for a while with the legendary facet.

There are a lot of events going on right now plus the festival. Map population is scattered. Best wait for bounty daily for facet. Will be really easy then.

Huh, I just dont bother hanging in pof maps because of that strange instrument lag.

That latency affecting skills as well is probably the reason why people dont generally want to do any more pof than they must for mounts.

It must be the time you play? Bounties (especially for facet) are being done regularly by so many commanders. Every time I check LFG and click to Crystal Oasis, more often than not, I see a squad doing bounties all over the Crystal Desert.

There was literally a bounty train yesterday in NA in the afternoon.

Do bounties when they are on the daily list. Never seen an empty map on daily bounty day.
