POF: Sparking the Flame Critical Error

I'm trying to do Sparking the Flame at the start of the POF Campaign.

I take the airship over to the Desert, fight the forged and then save the town from the Herald of Balthazar. However, after the 2 siblings interact and tell me to save the village, it completely crashes and makes me redo it all again.

I can't progress further than this. Aka I can't do any of the POF Campaign.

Help please.

Crashes, or disconnects?
