weaponwh.9810
is there a key i can assign to dodge only forward without push the directional button?
Loosmaster.8263
Edit: I read that wrong. I guess basically you will need to set up a macro to use 1 key for 2 actions which could break the ToS.

Morvran.8265
Don't think there's an option for that. Backward dodge is the default but you can change directions with WASD, or finetune the direction even more by holding down right click while moving. You'll need to ensure that the duration of the forward instruction overlaps with the dodge instruction. NOTE: Anet have a policy against some macros, with a potential ban to players who use them.I'm not sure that this would be considered a bannable macro given that it effectively does only one action, although it requires 2 keys. RedCobra.7693
Why lol? maybe some insight would allow players to help with the underlying issues your trying to solve with this method. being able to dodge backwards by default is the most optimal.
