setdog.1592 Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 In the June 23, 2015 patch both Grenadier and Writ of Persistence were revamped and received radius increases by +60.Today Guardian got this 5.5 year old change reversed.Is it possible this is a change to the Grenadier trait that has been overlooked, and might deserve the same reversal?How would that impact PvP, Engi, other professions and builds? He didn't say that the radius has no impact.The radius helps worse players to have a bit more room for error when it comes to throwing grenades, while good players don't really need the radius increase.So basically, this trait makes grenades more usable for the average player. And it also makes grenades more usable for top players by increasing the throwing speed, so you can actually land grenades at all even as a good player.You know what? That trait is required if you want to use grenades in PvP, the kit doesn't function in that environment without it. Dantheman.3589 Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 There’s a difference between the symbol trait and grenades, if you are in th aoe for guard u take all the damage whilst for grenades it’s based on how many hit. That imo is a major difference between the 2, but let’s be honest the only thing we needed to balance symbol guard was a reduction in both(yes I am saying both) power damage modifiers for symbols and a reduction of damage for burns applied via the decreased burn cd for symbols.But I don’t wanna talk dooms day scenarios so let’s see what anet has in mind for the class Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
