Corvus.9027
I started playing again after a few years and randomly (even while not in combat) my movement speed drops to being super slow, similar to being crippled, and stays that way until I log out to character select. It is not always triggered by combat, it's not fixed by waypointing, and is permanent (it triggered like 2 minutes into Triple Trouble and couldn't walk effectively for the entire next 15 minutes until it ended and I logged out, it has never stopped on its own). It does not show as an effect, and is not tied to combat (just had it happen in Lions Arch while selling things). I can dodge at normal speed, but if I use a mount they are reduced in speed to match me and stay slow. This is seriously ruining gameplay for me - when it happens during an instance there is no way for me to complete it without restarting, and sometimes makes me unable to do meta events. I've submitted 4 IG big reports and a help ticket with no response except a form letter saying to post here - anyone able to help?
Tiilimon.6094
Check your "walk" keybind.
Corvus.9027
I've tried, it works normally but stays at this speed. I can stop and start but stays slow.
Linken.6345
There is a button you press 1 time that forces you walk instead of run maybe you have accidently pressed it?Check what it is and if you press it again you will be able to run and maybe best to unbind it after
Corvus.9027
I've tried hitting the walk key and it doesn't change my speed. I also tried unbinding it just in case and it still is triggering.
Corvus.9027
If I'm not having this issue I can use the walk key normally, but when this happens none of the keys (walk, autorun) do anything to change it.
