They clearly don't need our money. Fine with me. Having these purchases available only in-game is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Great company! There are two main problems discussed in this thread. One easily taken care of my the Billing CS Team, and one not so easily taken care of (the EU security issue). I think this is a problem of the entire EU region due to the adopted new rules for payments via the Internet. In the pop-up window, after I try to make a payment, a window pops up where it says that the browser through which I want to make a banking transaction is out of date. Uses my old phone numbers for current emails. Seemingly no way to recover accounts when you change phone number. Major hassle. Wont bother with a new email just for this. Why won't you take the money. Let payment processors sort stuff like this, and if they can't, switch the provider. Big yikes. Arhon.1638 Posted September 27, 2021 Share Posted September 27, 2021 (edited) 27 September 2021 from Cyprus. same issue with OTP problems due to the latest EU security changes(requiring the bank to send an OTP message to your phone for any card purchases) the OTP code gets sent but once i put it in the box it gives me a white box error and nothing else, cant buy gems from gem shop in-game but the retailers with game cards work, been trying for 2 months so i gave up and used retailers. I am not sure what the problem is so i cant really say but a wild guess would be the in-game browser is super old. This issue can be EASILY solved by the company making an webpage shop at (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/) that only lets you buy GEMS, like how Zenimax did with ESO making a CROWN Shop(https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/crowns) where you can just buy Crowns from their webpage. I dont understand why they dont do this and its in 2021 almost 2022. EDIT: The funny thing? this error happens only in GW2 meanwhile it doesnt happen in other games like ESO.
