What do you want to see the most in EoD? - [Merged]

Because there is a bitter rivalry between the community about the raids ... create weekends open world Tournaments/speed runs , where is essential the same events as Raids , but with 15-20 people and less KP .Each server/overworld can enact "War to other servers " (randomly - the ones that are ahead) , meaning a 3v3 Deathmatch-Final Destination in the PvP servers ."Volunteers" can be elected to defend themselves , in the Winning Servers .... or the Commander from medium severs / they ones not doing good enough can choose "Hire Mercenaries" (a.k.a pick random soloquers that happened to play normally in the PvP areas , at that time and they are doing their dailies ) .Whoever wins , the boss HP is reduced by 35% .If 3 people from your server join the PvP match , the HP of the boss is reduced by 20% , while in the Winning server by 10% (or they should not wage war and stay to reduce it themselves ) .Or they can build as tanky as possible , to stall the people from the winning server from joining their server ever again)If the Winning server wont choose representatives in 45 sec , then the server that challenged them auto-wins and their boss HP is reduced to by 35%

Edit: Or create places , called "Power Stones" (nice intro anime, same as Lodoss War 1:45sec ...see the ovas only) , where essentially you boycott the other servers , by going there it que you into Ranked PvP and if you win , the next day (hopefully in the Tournament Day) you create a 5 min sandstorm/snowstorm ... if more people join PvP and win , the storms will be enabled for longer and more difficult Mobs will spawn (or you control one of them)

WvW updates definitely. It was one of the major things that was/is genuinely unique to GW2 that gives a good grab-bag of both lite PvE alongside both lite and more hardcore PvP fights. If handled correctly, it has a little bit for everyone while having the added bonus of having both direct and indirect interactions/effects on other players. That dynamic component of player-player interaction can serve as a near infinite wellspring of interesting content/experiences with only minor additions here and there to shake up the meta, WAY less in the long term than what would have to be put into making the normal PvE content interesting long-term.

Right now it's marred by a long list of problems. Sub-optimal profession balance, stale map metas, bots/hackers, general performance issues during larger battles (even on fairly modern PCs), lag problems (which has gotten better recently, but the standard for tolerable latency is higher in PvP than it is in PvE), and just a general lack of content additions to make people come back and see what's changed; WvW is still largely the same gamemode that shipped with the base game back in 2012 and carries many of the problems that were prevalent even back then. GW1 managed to live so long in "maintenance mode" after new content stopped dropping in large part due to the thriving PvP community; that part of the game still remained dynamic even while the rest of the game became frozen in time. While I don't think things are so dire in GW2, it's definitely an important step in getting people engaged with the game again looking into the long-term.

...and while I hate to be the one banging this drum yet again, please let us have the alliance system. It's not a fix-all for WvW's problems, but MAN is it a strong first step.

I'm want to see the elite specs properly balanced, but I'm also interested in improving wvw experience. That gamemode should be the end game of gw2, but I got tired of it quick. It's lacking something. I'd love better balance in the competitive formats essentially, along with revitalized gameplay.

I really do think that the only way they can outdo mounts is with a new race or housing. If they were to bring out the xpac without one of these the community would be extremely disappointed due to self-convincing that it would be the new big thing.

On a side note, I'd really like them to fix the big issues the game has regarding difficulty scaling, linearity of story (s1 still missing, visions of the past didn't do jack omegalul), extreme inventory and currency clutter, fps issues, etc etc.

And I really hope the maps are not dead on arrival like path of fire. they were fun to explore, but there's 0 reason to return to them if its not for HPs.

Please add a new wvw map that looks like Auric Basin ^^

More mailbox space and guild slots, bag slots for toons, bank slots

Dye templates

Dye night and day templates that change in the morning and evening

Don't kill anymore Elder Dragons in the story

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand stop reward chests from flashing, they spoil screenshots

I wish i could see some more customisation options, hair, faces, more colors.

I wish to be able to swap footsteps from legendary weapons, maybe makin them a whole other section like a wardrobe to unlock.

New legendaryes.

Otion to do dungeons solo.

And yes New races like some frostelfes or dwarfs i think they would fit in.

New class or New specialisations

Some bittersweet epic ending story like why "The commander" fight and struggle but in The end we always win xD.

New skyscale/mount engaging skill that doesn t dismount you.

Affrodable infusions that are not so shiny and glittery.

I put PvP although that's not the only thing I'd hope for.

I have never tried PvP in GW2, but I feel like the mountains of negative feedback from people that actively DO play PvP is enough to know it needs a change. I myself really want to get into playing some WvW at some point (I have way too much to do on my noobie main already to worry about learning a new gamemode right now) and it would be nice knowing that the PvP gamemodes aren't riddled with problems that some people just put up with.

Another thing I'd really like to see is the addition of a new profession. What kind? I have no idea - but having yet another choice would be awesome and just might be the motivation I need to start another character (although I still have so much to do on my first!). Sure, there are some great professions already, but they each have their own drawbacks or deterrents and more versatility in selection never hurts.

More Story less grind, honestly with how GW2 has changed since release i hardly login in these days.. Gems cost a fortune as an Aussie and the games just become a tired grind..Also for some reason EB games no longer is able to get Gem Cards here so i stopped buying Gems.

I don't want new classes added. What I would love is for the current classes to be enhanced. Take the ranger for example. How about enhancing the pet so they have their own trait lines, skills and even armour! That's just one idea but you see where I am going with this. Enhance the current classes playstyle and systems. Please. We need to spice things up a bit.

Weekends , where Core/steam players can play a EoD specific map , and be the NPcs to harass the players , in a Dragon's Stand meta or Raid and reverse in a scale down form .The less damage a Core player manage to do , more mobs/earthquake spawn every 1 min.

This is about Cantha the deep sea dragon, I lost interest in seeing the Tengu as a new playable race. They will be there as NPC and that is enough for me I would love to see the Largos more the fact that they were expelled from their deep sea domain we should help them kill the deep sea dragon, using them as new playable characters.

Will there be only PvP section , with low Giga in Steam ?People , seeing 50 giga will think that you have to lvlup>grind gear>play pvpThey wont research ... but they only see the main video and the biggest neon headlines , in 40 sec

Or WvWvW only server + use the game code to create a new game (same assets -darker color) and co-up wth the WvWvW population for 15 min match ?This will kind an event for 15 min in WvW , in a section of the map of the dominant server (south-east Tower)And when it ends , the WvW community will be left behind to fix the damage done to the event (broken walls) and meanwhile could be attack by other servers

For example RTS/Savage 2/They are Million : building tower defense in a existing Tower that anyone owns , to counter the inc "zombies" wave (in his screen the WvW zergs will look like it) , in 15 min .Hopefully it might be Player vs 3 servers , or vs bots in no allies are nearby

Titanfall/Overwatch (15 min match) :a) Console enemies are 10 feet (in their screen they look normal)b)WvW players die from 2 hit , regardles of Toughness ..don't stack and zerg the console playersc) WvW players , looks like goblin in the screen (rather than the WvW basic form)d) If all WvW players die , or go out of "bound" , they dont get the end reward . If 1x goblin is alive slowly other rez-can join again the fighte) The console player are doing normal 5v5 Overwatch Deathmatch . While the Goblins try to prevent them from going into the middle and accidentally trading blows near the mid (its hidden Tower) . Or try to lure them away , by offering powerups/special bullets/decaping basesf) The WvW players on their screen see ,the normal map and on the map is "scarred black lines" on the ground representing the"bound"of the overwatch map .If you go out of bound for total of 10 sec (0,3+0,5...in their screen you are hiding behind boxes..) you loose the transformation and you cannot particiapate for 3 min . While 5 feet above the WvW player's head , there an invisible wall that prevents the consloe players from going out of bound .In their screen they play a normal orverwatch match ,and the walls is fully animated .

Hopefully the lesser servers , might see that you are occupied with the guys from Consoles and attack you . Or the Concole players can play 5v5 Overwatch , without needing the WvW players

Yea they tried that before the game released and it got scraped.starwars the old republic got something like it and it worked decently for them, when I played the core version of that.

Having a companion with you that can fight for you, and I mean competently, kinda like when Rytlock tags along in the living world story for crystal desert, would require them to rebalance everyone around the power boost one would mean. Because adding a competent companion now would just make content easier if they didn't, and nobody needs that. It's in a good place.Ergo, no companions, sorry.
