Because a zerk guard + str spellbreaker does not cover the same roles as healbreaker and burn dh. Classes don't matter, roles do.

what am i missing? changing classes.. like you can log out to char screen and change class once in a match before clicking ready?

A long time ago anet polled players whether they wanted class swapping or profession mmr.

They close class swapping.

Why is this topic coming up so much recently? There are far more serious issues that need to be addressed imho.Not everyone swaps because they try to counter btw, lots of ppl do other stuff while waiting for the queue pop on a different char or they swap to avoid double roles in the team.
