AFKers tanking rating on purpose

Like the title says, people tanking ratings in ranked matches by purposefully AFK'ing is ridiculous.

There's a report feature, but i've seen these players just continue to sit in the mists lobby for days without anything being done to them. They've gotten so bold as to even mock/joke about what they're doing openly.

I did a reasearch because i didn't understand what "tanking rating" mean, i found :"Tanking is when you lose ranked matches on purpose to lower your MMR. Doesn't have to be on purpose."

What is the point of doing that? To find weaker players and bully them??

And afking is really toxic and disrespectful, maybe try to record your game then you have proof and make a ticket, if it can help.

I wouldn't be surprised if plat+population dried up so much that people need to tank rating to get their ego fix.

Maybe if anet did literally anything to show they give a $hit about their pvp modes than maybe more players would care as well, when it feels like the devs dont care players follow, games in a spot right now its a joke, even to most vets.
