Moving with bank access open

Anyone know why the Bank Access Expresses and permanent version don't let you move and keep them open? A lot of the other stuff that doesn't spawn an npc (like the Tarrktun portal) lets you, but the bank access missed out on that update and it would be super useful.

Yeah, that would be nice. As it is right now, I often find myself playing a game of "double click the item I want from my bank before it closes".

That would be nice. I remember in Guild Wars 1 you could access the bank and then run all over town with the bank panel open.

Yes, I find that annoying, too, especially when you are trying to sort your inventory while gliding high above Verdant Brink, for instance. You always have to stop in order to sort and transfer stuff, but that's how the mechanic works. Apparently, there is an "invisible NPC" when you use the Permanent Bank Access item.

While we're on the topic of these, can we make the other permanent contracts just open a window as well, so we can use them without having to wait 5 minutes for the npc to despawn? There's no real point to spawning an npc when nobody else can use them. And definite +1 to using bank access while moving. The double click game while gliding is a pain with lots of bank tabs.
