What Leg Specialist needs is it's CD removed and the cripple on the sword AA chain changed to torment. But sure absent that change the immobilize on Leg Specialist to 2s.

It works. I've used it plenty of times with Leg Specialist.

Also Explosive Shell got hit today. Now it definitely needs that damage increased lol.

I know this post is a tad old but i just wanted to throw my idea in here. i have had a hard time getting it going atm because i dont have access to the armor but might generation. I was messing with sword and longbow condi precision because longbow has 1 auto per shot and fire arua with might sigils thats 4 possible might and double the crit plus the fire aura however bow is slow. 

Now Rifle is also slow but it gains might per auto attack and with might sigils and aoe vun plus piercing damage you can see that you can get 1 might per auto 1 might per crit in trait and 2 might on sigils which effectivly is 1 more than greatsword could be able to do. Rifle also has some cc and long range use for bosses in pve aswell as 2 evades which can be recharged with the cc ability. currently i only have cellestial gear but it seems to me rifle Greatsword could be the versitille setup for pve play as you could keep your might gen running while kitting and have 3 evades compared to 1 shield stance plus put 25 stacks of vulln on a target before swapping back to your greatsword for a hundred blades combo..

i also have been messing around with core warrior instead of spell breaker but i have a good reason

tempest Runes, i am currently running defiant stance shake it off for great justice and the sigil of endurance. with endure pain traited. this lets me also trait for the stun recovery so yes i am missing out on a lot of might heals in groups from spell breaker and a block with some protection. but i get an extra dodge on my rifle, and now aoe heal when i break cc, essensially breaking a cc heals more for 3-4k with no recharge and i have 2 -4 stunbreaks.

Hard disagree.

 

Rifle is fine as is. It's a rifle. It does its job. What do people truly expect of a long-range weapon anyway? If anything, sword and mace are in worse shape. Those desperately need attention. Really, the only improvements I would make are simply to rework Explosive Shell into an AoE and rework Brutal Shot to knock back your opponent instead of immobilize, while also mimicking the engineer Blunderbuss.

I would say make crack shot baseline across the weapon sets rather than the AAs.

Brutal shot needs to evade then fire a higher velocity round. Explosive round being an AoE proper is a good idea.

What would have been best for rifle would have been a power/expertise|precision/ferocity stat set, but that is apparently not happening.

Can someone help me with tips for WvW Rifle warrior?

1) I keep seeing "memeshot" and "memeflame" thrown around but I really don't know what these mean other than to guess it's Berserker + rifle (or just core), but need more details regarding traits, armor stats, runes, sigils, second weapon set, etc. [Disclaimer: noob warrior here]

If I had to guess, I would say marauder stats with either full glass cannon +power type runes or durability, and running discipline and berserker, plus maybe tactics for some sustain? Then, do people mostly run signets or shouts?

2) On that note, is there room for a rifle power-based build that can also swap to something like GS or Sw+Sh for dueling, to have a more all-around roamer using rifle? Maybe with soldier stats or knight's, or even celestial.

3) Spellbreaker rifle - dead on arrival or? Especially vis-a-vis a more hybrid dueller/roamer type build.

(wanted to make a new thread but this one seems appropriate even though the OP was not about this per se)

After EoD with the new stat set.

Memeflame is running the maximum dps increases possible, activating all your boosts, then hitting the target with everything. That build will hit a medium armor target for 25k with a GunFlame if you are able to activate all the modifiers (pretty much slap all your signets, bulls charge them, Berserk ->F1). You won't be able to mount though as the signet of ferocity stacks go away then, but get a friend with Warclaw's Blessing.
