Apparently the ones I have are not immediately compatible with the newer ones (the old ones are blue and called simple infusions instead of being ascended-colored and named agony infusions). You can buy 5 Bag of fractal relics for a single +5 Simple versatile infusion effectively refunding you the original 75 relics you spent to get it. If you have a +7 versatile infusion you would get 10 bags for it resulting in 150 relics. You can also buy an extraction tool from the vendor to pull infusions out from your gear.Edit: This gives you a break down on what to look for when gearing up with the new infusions.
