Verdant Brink: Escort survivor to Pact Camp event is bugged

"Safeguard survivors attempting to reach the Pact encampment" event is bugged.

4th time in a row that I encountered doing this event. This event doesn't seem to progress because 3 NPC survivors walk around in circles endlessly and not heading to the destination.

Can anyone confirm that it is possible to do this event without triggering the bug or is the Ground Pounder achievement impossible to do for now?

All maps, and thus stalled events, reset when there is a patch/release.If you want/need this event, make sure to try it as soon after the patch as possible.

I completed the event, thankfully it seems I was trying to do the bugged/fake event but not the actual real one. The actual event covers the entire Pact Camp, the big oval orange circle you see on the map, this event works.

These should reset with each VB cycle so there is no need to wait more than 2 hours.

ive noticed the same.

several things in Heart of Thorns maps, once completed, will respawn.

this event is one of them. So the best move is to check the progress indicator on the main UI interface for the daytime events in verdant brink. if it has been completed and shows the 'completed dialogue' such as 'pact forces are ready for nightfall' then you know the events in that sector are completed, and you are looking at artifact events.

my guess is, these were left in so a player would be able to do some minor events if the whole map was completed 30 mins before nightfall so you'd have something to do.

edit: sorry. can confirm event is complete-able. its uncommonly glitched like that.
