Bullets and Beans (venting)

In Northern Grizzlewoods you have an achievement Special Mission: Bullets and Beans; escort an allied caravan in Northern.After a week of waiting, I finally got one to spawn, and it immediately despawned before it even got so much as out of the camp, because the map meta progressed to the next stage.

Do you have any idea how frustrating it is for an event to just not occur over an incredible long span of time, and only to immediately despawn right after it FINALLY triggered.

please, let us trigger the event, or something, give us SOME CONTROL over it..this just making me want to cry..

This isn't required.

What has happened in your case, is that you followed the supply Caravan just before the North Meta changed to the Attack the Ice Citadel Stage. When this happens the Caravan despawns.

However if you do a search on the wiki for "Special Mission: Bullets and Beans" it will show you an info box. If you look carefully the words "allied supply caravans" is a link to the info page, which is at

You will see that "This event will keep spawning while the Alluring Sabotage map meta event is running; it starts when the meta event begins and repeats after a short interval after the last escort completes or fails. Once Alluring Sabotage is complete (when the last Dominion tribune of the meta is slain), any currently running escort event fails and will no longer spawn."

So simply head over to the Forward Camp Waypoint as the North Meta starts and the Supply Caravan will spawn alongside the waypoint after a short period. Normally you get about three to four caravans spawning one after another before the meta flips (dependant on the speed of the players). You can complete this achievement in one North Meta.

I have read the wiki, and I have heard experiences of a lot of people.The wiki states that the entire duration of Alluring Sabotage will cause the caravans to spawn. However, people ingame claim this only occurs during the north meta, while the tribunes are active.I have waited on several occassions, entire map metas, to never see a single caravan spawn.And yes I am aware that the progressing of the map meta caused to event to despawn, which only further twisted the knife between my ribs, because right before the transition of those meta's was the first time in the whole week that the caravan spawned.

You claim that 3 to 4 caravans will spawn, but a week of waiting around that waypoint (from start of meta to end), proved to me that at no time does any caravan spawn.

Trust me, I wouldn't be posting/ranting about it here if I wasn't at my wits' and patience's end

The wiki was correct at the time I and a guildmate did it which is around a month or so ago.

There may be some sort of bug? Who knows?

Where exactly are you waiting? The Caravan starts right next to the WP. It travels up the cave system towards the finish point and is attacked by enemies along its route on a number of occasions. It can fail. There is a then a short period before it respawns again. If you are sitting at the very end of the track you might not encounter them as they exit the cave system into daylight since it has failed further into the cave system.

I'm waiting around the waypoint, as that is what the wiki claims to be the starting point.Luckily, I just got 2 encounters in the last meta, so I'm happy for now.. but I still don't understand why it just doesn't spawn always..maybe it's bugged yea... I dunno

It is frustrating when something doesnt happen as it supposed to. Glad you got a couple of spawns and a bit nearer to completion.

Alluring sabotage is exactly that time frame the people described to you....

Alluring sabotage is just during the north meta, while the tribunes are being hunted. And in that time period, the caravans keep spawning. It worked perfectly fine for me and I just did this achievement some weeks ago.

So there is no need to wait an entire map meta or something. Just and only during the north meta tribunes, this event can occur. It sounds to me like you misunderstood and thought that alluring sabotage is happening the entire time....

during the north meta tribunes, this event can occur. It sounds to me like you misunderstood and thought that alluring sabotage is happening the entire time....

So I figure nowbut the south meta is also called Alluring Sabotage, which makes describing the event progress in chat a hot mess
