Tekoneiric.6817
Please please please convert the True Assassin's Guise outfit into skins. It looks like it would be easily broken into skins sections. Personally I love most of the outfit but the shoulder armor and the high neck, to a lesser degree, keep me from buying it as a outfit. I think what might be possible is implementing armor combos. By this I mean if you wear two pieces of armor together they create a combined armor that looks different than what they should look like worn together. In the case of this outfit as armor. The chest armor based on this outfit would have a lower neck line and short sleeves but if worn with the mask from the set the neck becomes higher. If worn with the gloves, the chest armor becomes long sleeved. Combos could start with armor designed as a set then later add unique combos down the road. Neck and belt/waste coat armor could be implemented this way. Even older skins could slowly be updated to this over time. T-Shirt skins could be short sleeve unless worn with visible gloves. This would increase the flexibility of armor skins. Of course there would need to be a per-character check box to enable/disable combos.
The Greyhawk.9107
Don't hold your breath, ArenaNet would probably have to completely redesign how the armor system works in order to accommodate your request. Personally I would have preferred having this skin as a proper armor set instead of an outfit, as it looks like its based on the Seitung armor set from Guild Wars Factions. Doggie.3184
If only. It's still mind-blowing to see anything GW1 Assassin related finally enter the game so I bought it immediatly. But they made it clear years ago that they absolutly hate designing armor and will only make 9000 weapon skins a month instead with their design time. Just gotta pray Cantha xpan floods the game with buttcapeless GW1 Assassin-like armor skins. Which could be why they chose Seitung instead of any of the harder to get stuff (WTB the basic Luxon set). The Dragon Watch outfit I was super surprised to see cuz I immediatly assumed it was armor skins for first time ever but it wasn't lol. Even outfits that are pieced together the same way our armor is still becomes an Outfit.@"Wolfb.7025" said:Yes please. It looks awesome on male charr but THESE BOOTS ARE AWFUL MADE.Could be worse. I logged into my Charr to check the back spike to see if it's like the Bandit Sniper outfit and goes through their heel violently but it doesn't so kudos for that. Bandit Sniper boots look painful AF on Charr.

Danikat.8537
I actually like that charr get more blades on their feet and 3 extra knives on the tail (because the one thing that outfit needs is more knives) but I agree the toe blades don't look great. Overall I like it though and might get it even though it's not the kind of outfit I normally buy, mainly for my charr thief. I always found it amusing that GW1 assassins were covered in knives - even their underwear had knives attached.)It would be better if it was an armour set instead of an outfit, but I've accepted that they're going to keep making some things into outfits even if they could be armour. I'm glad we get some additional armour sets and that they're available in-game instead of in the gem store but I wish they'd address whatever causes it to take so much more time to make armour than an outfit. Maybe they could do more which are like the raven and bear ceremonial armour where it looks the same for all 3 armour weights, so they only have to design 1 set and then adapt it for each race and sex, instead of starting with 3 different designs.
