Can't decide on a new class to level

Hi, I wanted to start a new character recently but I'm stuck in a creating/deleting cycle. I haven't played many Condi builds so that's what I'm looking for. I'm interested in PvE and a little bit of WvW. Hows mesmer or ele? I prefer cloth for fashion wars. 

 

I've made so far:

80 necro

63 thief 

Low level ele and ranger

Both Condi weaver and mirage are good for soloing, and now both can do well in instanced content as well. Overall, I think it'll come down to your preference for each. Mesmer is a slower pace than ele, and ele is forced to keep a high APM when playing due to its profession mechanic. So if you enjoy more active gameplay, I'd give ele a try, but if you prefer to sit back, press a button every second and just watch everything crumble around you, I'd go mes. Hope that helps.

I suggest staying away from ele your going to run into the anet wall that will always keep you from preforming the best you could as a player even with a massive skill cap. Mesmer is kind of op atm but it maybe updated soon or 6 months or a year anet realty bad at things like that.

Both mesmer and ele have decent condi builds that aren't hard to play, at this point I'd probably advice on trying both of them and deciding by yourself or just making an initial pick by the theme you're more interested in.

Mesmer > Ele for PvE. You're desirable at all contents, with tons of utilities. You can go full DPS spec while still pumping out a lot of boons for the team. Or go bunker spec (best in game period). In WvW, Mesmer is very helpful with portal play and stealth/CC.
