Question about healing output

If a Chrono utilizes the healing well, traited to provide further heal on the end to allies, and a traited heal mantra, which will be the better version? 

 

As in, a well with strong healing, or a relatively low CD AoE heal in the form of a mantra? Talking full minstrel. 

 

I wanted to experiment with a different chrono setup for WvW although I lack the experience with the numbers and wasn't sure if it's possible or viable. Obviously other classes work better, but it's something on chrono which makes it more appealing. 

 

Would you suggest some staff wielding mesmer for such a setup or one with one handed weapons? (I use Scepter focus and sword shield on my current boonstrip setup). 

 

Ultimately, which heal is worth it more, wells or mantras?

Wells require you to predict where your allies will be standing in about 4 seconds. Mantra heals right now.
