Can you craft using soulbound material?

I have a 24 slot soulbound on use(and I used it) bag one of the characters, crafted by ANOTHER character with different crafting professions. Now I want to consider upgrading the bag and I wonder if there is any way to do it, or the bag is lost. I know that now I cannot transfer the bag directly, best I can do is put it it bank. But since for regular materials you CAN craft with stuff in your bank, I wondered if there is a way to use soulbound bag as a material for craft from bank. Anyone got any idea if this could work? I kinda tries to show up in discovery tab, but then instantly disappears like the game is realising in buggy glitchy fashion "you shouldn't be doing this!", but I wonder what would happen AFTER I discover the recipe.

 

Bonus question: If I had the same crafting profession as the bag on the character it is bound to, could you even use souldbound item to craft some other item in the first place?

Your first question no you can't, it's impossible.

 

Bonus question yes you can so might be cheaper to level up crafting on your character.

You can use soul bound items to craft, but only if they're soul bound to the character who is doing the crafting. If it's bound to another character then you can't use it, even by putting it in the bank.
