Ravenhunt.2735
I post this here as well, because i guess that is a bug. Since the last patch it seem the hummingbird mount, some auras and other specific effects have a major performance impact for some users. Without hummingbird Mount: https://i.gyazo.com/8ccee0ec6859400714aa5480f416a999.jpg With Mount active/riding: https://i.gyazo.com/9c7ff1e1fe05c0b7b43099b9222ddc24.jpg Others experience a performance hit as well as i tested it with some players. No graphics option change that behavior. Driver or Game side doesn't matter. Graphics card is an AMD RX 6900XT, paired with a Ryzen 9 5950X. (No overclock, stock settings.) In my case. No other game experiences such weird behavior. Reinstallation has no effect. DX12 wrapper has no effect. Graphic settings has no effect. (Lowest or highest doesn't matter.) It also seems that some auras have a similar impact/effect. Would explain these weird "slowmo" like drops in Zergs now. (Besides the normal decrease of course.) Game runs normal without player with auras and not all aura effects have that effect. It's a very specific one that impacts the performance so drastically. EDIT: Updated the Thread. Because it's not only the hummingbird mount having that effect. Edited May 28, 2021 by Ravenhunt.2735
Ravenhunt.2735
No one having that issue? I know at least a hand full of people i tested that with who have the same issue of performance impacts of 20 to nearly 80% with the hummingbird and some auras. You can test it yourself easily. Find a person with a hummingbird mount, go to a silent area so your performance is not impacted by anything else. And try it out with unlimited FPS if you are above 60 in average to see the impact. Surprising to be honest no one notices it. Or just don't care/not noticing it while in action? Edited May 26, 2021 by Ravenhunt.2735
