So... are engineer turrets ever going to be looked at, or no? Will we ever get a statement from the team on this?

I suspect anet keeps track of skills being used. They see people equipping rifle turret in pve, people equipping thumper turret in pvp, and think to themselves that turrets are being used.

This thought is depressing. Probably also them seeing that supply crate is used, which includes net turret, so this one is considered "fine" too.

That would suck... people mainly only equip rifle turret for the tool belt skill, and the turret itself is useless. Doesn't mean the actual utility skill is in a good place.

Don't really see many afks use them. Minionmancer is better at this since necromancers can put way more strength into their minions through traits.

Anyway, this should just be an additional alarm signal for Anet that they have to rework turrets. Afk farming is not intended by them, so if the only use case for a skill type is abusing them for something that is forbidden in terms of service... then you know you got work to do.
