What happened to my forum account???

I noticed recently that my overall number of posts had dropped off significantly; I used to have several hundred posts and suddenly now that number is below 100.  Today as I looked over my profile I noticed it said my forum account was created 5-21-2018.  I've been playing this game since 2012 and started using the forums almost immediately.  What's going on here???  Has anyone else noticed a major discrepancy lately regarding their actual start date or seen a significant number of posts suddenly vanish?

Well, the forum that kept track of posts was released September 12, 2017.

So, no one will have a count (or show 'joined') before that date.

 

As for your post count, I don't know.  You could use the Wayback Machine to check the previous Vanilla forum.

We're in the third version of the forums now. The first forums went down in 2017 but the community gracefully hosted a copy of the posts at:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/

 

The second (Vanilla) forums were released in 2017 and were a clean start with an empty database. The current new Invision forum got all the posts of the Vanilla forum converted to it.

Thank you for the responses.  Admittedly there were periods where I did not use the forums and was completely unaware that they had been redone in 2017, which would explain the May 2018 "joined" date.  As for the post count, it still feels off relative to only a short time ago, but it is what it is.
