depleted power scource for aurora bugged?

Ive looted over 20 of zinns caches and I didnt get the depleted power scource dropped at all, and its kindoff necesary to finish my draconis mons master for aurora. am I the only one having this insane unluck?

I completed it recently, so I am not aware of any bug.  However, I do recall one or two components of this collection being a little annoying with the RNG.  That may have been one of them, but as I required two weeks of druid stone time-gating in Draconis Mons anyway, I wasn't overly concerned.

I mean its not like I really am too bothered about it since Im also still gathering tons of different stuff but tbh I just noticed that most ppl get it after 2 or 3 and some rarely 6 to 8 or so. but at this point I have opened 21 of these chests and it didnt drop at all so Im starting to think wtf?

RNG collection items tends to be either you get it on the first handful of attempts or it takes forever. Annoying but completely normal ...

Happened to me recently with Bloodstone Fen aerial something. I was killing mobs in air for a while, then posted on the forum about it, if i'm doing something wrong or what... Literally few minutes after i posted the thing dropped lol.

 

Same thing about a particular item i had to get a drop from bandits. I don't remember what it was but only bandit enemies dropped it, i think it was for that 32 slot bag in Sandswept Isles or Mark Y golem, not sure. Doesn't really matter. I spent days farming several bandit spots before it finally dropped. All other enemy types dropped theirs after max 15 minutes.

 

RNGesus probably doesn't like us. 😛 Just keep at it.
