Unicorn Luna.5204
Hi! So as far as I've ever understood it, the combo field that your finisher will combo with will be the oldest one you use the finisher within. But just now I was running a CM with a thief dropping smokescreen to blast for stealth, on four different occasions I used my engi's Blast gyro, I started it after the smokescreen was down in all four situations. The results where: 1) Area Stealth 2) The Thief's shortbow caused area might instead of area stealth. 3) Area Stealth. 4) Thief's shortbow caused area might. After this fourth time the Thief said that fire fields take priority but I've never known this to be true - except that in DPS situations you want fire fields to be put down first for area might. Can anyone shed some light on what's going on here? Thanks! Edited May 26, 2021 by Nayaru.4716
Dawdler.8521
It's the finishers that take priority if I'm not mistaken (blast take oldest, leap takes newest etc) but there are a bunch of other rules on top like how many can use a single field. The real question is if your group wanted to stack stealth why is there a fire field...
cat.8975
Combos use the first field you enter (or the oldest field on the ground if you're not inside of it). If you briefly leave the stack when using blast gyro (step out of all existing fields), you'll guarantee the might blasts. It's a little clunky, but usually not too hard to pull off.
